The South Athletic Dept. expresses its condolences to the family of Coach John Smith. Coach Smith was a great ambassador for Glenbard South. He had great impact on many Raiders through the years. His presence will be sorely missed. Thanks Coach for everything you did for GS.

Our Raider All State Athletes Wall is now up. What a great addition to the Hall of Champions. The wall includes every All State athlete up to fall athletes from the Class of 2023. There are already more to be added from the Classes of 2023 and 2024. Who will be next?

Congrats to Coach Mark Tacchi on earning induction into the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Mark will officially be inducted on Saturday, January 11th. A great recognition of Mark's commitment to the sport, our school and many Raider athletes!

Congratulations to our boys varsity cross country team on qualifying for next week's Class 2A State Meet. The team finished 4th today at the Kaneland Sectional to punch their ticket to state. Great Job Raiders!

Congrats to Cam Williams on qualifying for the IHSA State Track Meet in the Long Jump, High Jump, 100m and 200m Dash. Cam was sectional champ in the long jump, high jump, and the 100m dash. He placed second in the 200m dash to earn his trip to state. Good Luck!

Great job today by girls golf at Upstate 8 Conference tournament. Varsity wins conference tournament and finishes 2nd overall. Bristow and Kennedy earn all conference. Bristow, Kennedy, LaBarbera finish in top 10 at varsity and Schmidt and Witort earn JV ribbons.
